So Your Girlfriend Is Out of Your Life

One of the challenges that people have to face in life is falling in love and living through the breakup if the relationship happens to fail. It does not matter whether you are a man or a woman; your gender does not make the heartache any less painful when the relationship you have cherished has come to an end.

When you are a guy, you are expected to take any challenge like a man, no matter how painful or emotional it is. In our society, it is considered kind of unmanly for a guy to show his feelings, especially when it comes to the matters of the heart. So, when faced with a breakup, you are called upon to suck it up and take it without saying a word.

But men have feelings too. Heartbreaks are just as painful for men as they are for women. However, why should men stop themselves from just letting his feelings go and cry when he wants to? Women can do that all the time without getting ridiculed or censured for doing so. Does it not seem unfair?

If you are a guy who is going through a rough patch in his life because the love of his life walked out on him, go ahead and give in to your feelings. Sulk and mope around if you feel like it. Scream if you have to. Do anything that will serve as catharsis that will help you release the pain and the anger inside. You will find that doing so will make you feel infinitely better.

Once you are feeling up to it, rationalize what happened with your relationship and decide whether it is worth pursuing your ex-girlfriend again. Rationalize is the key word here. Whatever your decision would be, whether to woo her back into your life or to find someone new to replace her, you should make this decision with your head and not your heart. This will help you get things done more clearly.

But never forget that you always deserve the best. When it is clear to you that the two of you are not meant to be, then that is just how it is. Let her go and leave her be. It may be a blow to your ego that she does not want you anymore, but you can never force someone to love you back no matter how strongly you love her. Set her free and get on with your life.
